Y'ALL SHOULD CONSIDER THIS A PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear y'all,
I am working on something that is Large and Unwieldy right now, but I promise I will writing something real soon, and it'll be something that involves men in kilts and hushpuppies and pirates.
But in the meantime, I thought I would let you know that due to popular demand, Operation Haremail will be commencing shortly... probably sometime later this week once I get this Large, Unwieldy project off my desk. This year I am handing the whole shebang over to Swap Bot to sort out, so if you would like to participate and you don't have a Swap Bot account, you'll need one.
Also, and I really do hate to do this, I think I might have to make it a requirement that you have a blog to participate. Last time we had about eight people who didn't get anything back, and every last one of them was partnered with someone who didn't have a blog.
Although I hate to be prejudiced against the blogless. So I am not sure about that yet. Opinions are welcome (encouraged) if you have one.
Cheers!

I have a Flickr thing that kind of works in a bloggy way, but with pictures. can that count? I don't have time to keep up with ablog in the way I feel it should be done, what with all the knitting and watching America's Next Top Model and such.

I'm not sure kilts go with Hushpuppies ...... probably depends on the socks.

But, wait. I'm so confused. Haremail?
On the other hand, I like pirates. And men in kilts, for that matter. So there's always that.

HA!
I just started my blog two days ago, so I will turn up my nose in the general direction of those who are blogless.
Commence the discrimination then!

Since you asked for 2 cents, here's mine. I've organized some swaps that included the blogless, and they've worked out ok. Setting up and maintaining a blog can be a lot of work, more than some may have time for. Or a hurdle for the technologically unsure. That said, I always like it when swappers have blogs, because then I can read them. How's that for a fence-sitting 2 pennies?

I agree, a blog should be a requirement. People who really want to participate can always set up a "my participation in Haremail" blog of their own.
I just signed up for Swap Bot! Let the Haremailing begin!
And good luck with that large and unwieldy something.

Mmmmm, I think you should have to have a blog. It's how we-all are connected, righty-o? And a good way to see / check on what your peep would like, beyond what they write on the selection ticket. Or whatever the swapbot asks you to fill out. That's just me. Always opinionated, always crazy. ARRRGH! (Just throwin' in some piratey speak. To keep it flavorful.)
