THING TWO IS FINISHED
This is what I've had tucked in a tupperware in my closet since last September.

You can see why I was unenthused about working on this project. It's hard to get excited about a poop in your closet.
But after the proper application of a rolling pin..

... and a cookie cutter...

... and another cookie cutter...

... and some doodads and embellishments...

... and fifteen minutes in the oven at 275ยบ...
Viola!

Pissy little gingerbread men.
Now why this took me a year to get around to finishing, I have no idea. I love polymer clay. If you've never played with it, I highly recommend that you get a little bit and give it a try.

How adorable are your steamed gingerbread men? They look SO cute! Was your polymer clay sparkly or did you add something to it, or are my eyes just playing tricks on me?

These are GREAT. They've even pushed me out of my lurker box. Your "finishing week" is very inspiring, you know...almost inspiring enough to make me do it, but not quite. ;)
Q: Did you do the embellishments (eyes/etc.) from polymer clay too, or is that paint or something else? If you have time to respond, I'm at OD again. Or I guess I could check my yahoo account...haven't done that in awhile.

These are great! They kind of describe how I feel about Christmas.I'd be tempted to make some myself but you know they'd sit there for 2 years until I got around to finishing them...

Oooh, now there's an idea. I suppose it gives a new significance to "biting his head off"!

Wonderful! I definitely need some of these to go with my "Bah Humbug" Christmas stocking! Happy Thanksgiving.

That is one awesome little ginger bread guy. I have to find me some clay. You've inspired me to add to my growing list of things to do:)

Also? I think my mama would love these. Can we talk about purchasing options, if you are in fact selling them? Email me.

Are you kidding me? Those guys are so freaking cute! Can I find this so-called "polymer clay" at Joann's? And will it cost me an arm and a leg?

Very cute! I think you're inspiring me to start some projects to procrastinate on myself!
