WE SLACK
I went to the post office this morning and mailed off a big load of cats in slacks. So if you have ordered one any time in the past week, it is now on its way to you. I meant to mail them on Friday but I was slacking off. Mea culpa.
(Get it? Slacking? Har.)

Ohohoho, you want to try my local post office in the middle of Leeds. There are:
1. Randomly manned counters on both sides of the queue so when the recorded voice says "CASHIER NUMBER *FSHHWT* PLEASE!" you have to look wildly about you to find where you're supposed to go.
2. Twitchy shouty people on drugs picking up their giro cheques and staring out other people in the queue.
3. Old people who haven't... maybe... washed in a while picking up their pensions and hoping for a bit of a chat with the cashier.
4. At least 20 people in the queue whenever I go in, including 10.30am on a Tuesday.
...I hate my post office. I really do. Under the circumstances, I really cannot explain why I keep eBaying my possesions for pennies.

If you do much snail mailing at all, I'd recommend:
Endicia.Com
Kinda pricy for the occasional item but if you send stuff out regularly, it'll pay for itself in time and you can buy insurance and tracking and everything from the comfort of your desk and give them to the guy when he comes with your mail.

Vomiting and post offices?--you are too funny--thanks for the chuckle at your expense.

Eww, that vomit story would totally haunt me too. Yuck. Yeah, sometimes post offices do blow, and Click N Ship is great for that. But I do understand your pain, I do. =)

I think you win in the wittiest comments category.

So, did I really order my cats or did we leave it at maybe? And if we left it at maybe, can I really order my cats? And if I didn't order my cats, will you let me know?
..Okay, I'm an idiot. Just... tell me what I need to do. I want kitties!

At my post office they don't allow the use of cell phones- I kind of assumed that was a USPS policy. But yeah, pick-up is best.

You are so silly. I would think about that spewing incident everytime I went there too... yuck. Speaking of mailing... my haremail package is going out tomorrow (later than I wanted, I was sick). By the way, I keep meaning to tell you that I love the haremail illustration! Eat me. That is great!

Oh shit! I keep forgetting to send you your check. I will go write it now. I promise.
I too fear the PO.

Hold on... they'll come to my house and pick all this shi... I mean.. this delightfully whimsical artwork UP? And here I've been driving it all over town like a sucker.
I think I love you. If this actually works, you are SO on my Christmas card list.

Click & Ship, dude! You never have to leave your home again (unless you're sending international packages)! Another good option is the self-serve machine (too bad it doesn't dispense soft serve ice cream at the same time)--you don't have to wait in any pesky lines.

I'm a bit nervous to go to the post office, usually the only time I've mailed out packages has been for work. And that's easy b/c I just go to usps.com and all my info is there and the postman picks up the box.
I have 2 things to mail out this week, my Haremail and a thank you to Gretchen who designed my new blog template. I'm scared, hold me!
